Retromania!

Fans of classic anime have plenty to look forward to in 2014! Anime Limited has dug into the archives and found treasure - March sees the release of Durarara!! on Blu-ray, while April brings musical comedy Nerima Daikon Brothers to the UK for the first time. Mecha fans will also be well-served by the company, with genre masterpieces Gurren Lagann and The Vision of Escaflowne coming in three flavours - Ultimate Collectors' Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray, and DVD - in April and Q4, respectively.

MVM has some retro treats lined up, too - the first three seasons of 2006's supernatural action / comedy The Familiar of Zero, plus Ikki Tousen: Great Guardian and Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor, continuing the titillating tale of rival schools and buxom battlers.

Lastly, Manga is re-releasing the original Naruto on DVD starting in January - perfect for those who caught the ninja bug with Shippuden and want to see where it all began - and they're also bringing the first season of Fairy Tail to Blu-ray in March!
