Brynhildr in the Darkness

Ten years after the untimely death of his childhood friend Kuroneko, Ryouta Murakami keeps her memory alive by scanning the skies every night, and studying to become a NASA researcher by day – all to fulfil her dream of proving the existence of aliens.
But it seems as though it’s not just her memory that’s alive one day, when the new student Neko Kuroha arrives at Ryouta’s class, bearing an uncanny resemblance to his deceased friend, but no memories of Ryouta himself. And as if that was wasn’t weird enough, Kuroha reveals that she has magical abilities when she saves his life from a rockslide. With these powers of telekinesis and super strength, Kuroha is a force to be reckoned with, but her mysterious past didn’t exactly prepare her for a normal high school education. But maybe together, Ryouta and Kuroha will be able to get through the rigours of a super powered student lifestyle, and get to the bottom of Kuroha’s identity...
