Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Anime

On 18 January 2013, The Japan Foundation presents Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Anime: A Talk with Hirokatsu Kihara and Michihiko Suwa.

Anime critic Helen McCarthy will host this discussion about the anime industry with two people who have been at its heart for years.

As Chief Producer at the Animation department of Yomiuri TV, Michihiko Suwa has produced many hit shows, including multiple series of Detective Conan, City Hunter and Inuyasha.

Hirokatsu Kihara worked on two Studio Ghibli's classics - Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbour Totoro.
