All The Anime

There's a new kid in town when it comes to the British anime scene, and it comes in the form of Anime Limited, the Glasgow-based anime licensing company which is parent company to All The Anime. The company's first physical release is due this summer, on 29 July, and collates together the first part of the special collector's edition of Cowboy Bebop - the greatest space western ever! Part two of the series will be available on 23 September, at the same time as the complete box set, which consists of all 26 episodes of the series. These sets are available to pre-order now at retailers such as

Andrew Partridge, President of Anime Limited says: "Cowboy Bebop is one of the shows I started work on back when I joined the industry with Beez Entertainment - so it feels only fitting it should be our first title as a new company too! We're looking forward to bringing a show close to our hearts back out on general release this summer!"

Partridge certainly has plenty of experience in the anime industry in the country, working as he has with Beez Entertainment, Kaze, and also on the amazing Scotland Loves Animation festival. On this new company, Partridge told us: "All the Anime is committed to bringing some of the best anime from Japan to audiences in the UK. Our focus is on several key areas: release of classic shows, films and even the occasional fresh series that catches our eyes. We're determined to release titles not only on home video, but also theatrically, digitally and beyond. So you can expect some pretty cool ventures from us in the next year! We hope that with our aforementioned aims, we're able to meet the fans' desire for both a fresh angle on classic releases as well as making new anime titles available to them, right on their doorstep."

All The Anime certainly has plenty on the slate to excite anime fans, with releases of classic shows such as Outlaw Star, plus Makoto Shinkai movies like Place Promised in Our Early Days and Voices of a Distant Star planned for release, as well as cult classic Perfect Blue lined up for October. Head on over to page 024 to check out the roster for All The Anime, and also, make sure to check out page 062, which covers Anime Limited's first theatrical release - Kenji Kamiyama's 009 RE: Cyborg, in cinemas from 7 June!
