Anime At The BFI - From Up On Poppy Hill and many more!

Anime returns to the BFI Southbank this June for the BFI's biennial showcase of the best recent anime running between 8 and 10 June.

The line up boasts an eclectic mix of different genres and styles, including a preview of the much anticipated Studio Ghibli production From Up on Poppy Hill on Friday 8 June. Directed by Goro Miyazaki, the movie sold out when it played at the Terracotta Festival this year so if you missed it there, now's your chance to enjoy it on the big screen. Makoto Shinkai's Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below on Saturday 9 June.
