Kaze UK Announcements From Amecon
As reported by uk-anime.net, Andrew Partridge of Kaze UK announced new acquisitions and releases at the anime industry panel at Amecon this weekend.
On the acquisition front, Kaze UK has secured the rights to Mawaru Penguindrum.
The series is directed by Ikuhara Kunihiko, who brought the world the totally bonkers Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Mawaru Penguindrum involves two brothers trying to keep their sister alive by doing the bidding of a penguin hat they bought at the aquarium. Whatever you do, Ikuhara Kunihiko, don't go changing.
No word yet on a release date.
Following the news that all of the licences held by Beez had reverted to their original holders, except for those connected to the Gundam franchise, Kaze UK has snapped up the rights to Code Geass.
Both series of the show will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Last but not least, Andrew confirmed that Persona 4: The Animation will be released in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack.
