Samurai Chef

The premise behind Samurai Chef is simple: create a dish that will withstand the scrutiny of the Samurai Chef himself. Forget Simon Cowell – even his barbed tongue is no match for this judge… because he carries an actual sword! In the world of Samurai Chef, the meals have to stand up to battle, and the sword-wielding monkey-judge is the only thing between the teams and true victory.

Created in the UK by mayamada, and with backing from Indiegogo and Kickstarter, Samurai Chef is a labour of love. This compilation collection takes in volumes one and two of the story – although there’s plenty more to come from the fictional mayamada television network, judging by the back of this volume! (And, you can purchase mayamada clothing online too at www.mayamada.com.)

This action-comedy story is certainly not as food orientated as you might expect, given its easy comparison to titles like Iron Wok Jan, but it does contain the same furious, slapstick humour.

Not only is this a cool little action comedy, but the production quality of this volume is exquisite. Support local comics and pick one up today!
