Paradise Residence

If the name of the author rings a bell, congratulations – you’re officially old school. Kosuke Fujishima is best known for creating Oh! My Goddess and You’re Under Arrest, and this latest work, Paradise Residence, follows up with a story about Hatsune Takanashi, a terrible student who is lazy and unmotivated, but who has a heart of gold underneath it all. She’s staying at a prestigious boarding school, which is located on top of a mountain, and her main motivations in life seem to revolve around curry, her friends, and eating pudding. Throw in some crazy curveballs, like a grade-school aged house mother, a foreign exchange student some really weird habits, and a rival who isn’t above using Hatsune’s love of food against her, and you have the ingredients for a gentle high-school comedy.

From one of the masters of gentle comedy manga, Kosuke Fujishima, comes a high-school adventure with plenty of potential for laughs!
