New Trailer for Blood-C: The Last Dark

A second trailer has surfaced for Blood-C: The Last Dark. Vampire hunting schoolgirl Saya hits the big screen in this collaboration between Production IG and manga collective CLAMP, supervised by Junichi Fujisaku.

Naoyoshi Shiotani directs the movie, which opens in Japanese cinemas on 2 June 2012. Shiotani made his directorial debut in 2007 with Tokyo Marble Chocolate and he contributed storyboards and animation direction on Production IG's foray in to CG animation, Oblivion Island: Haruka And The Magic Mirror.

The Last Dark is set in Tokyo where a man called Fumito Nanahara holds power and young people live under a curfew that bans them from being out on the streets after dark.

A group called The Sirrut opposes Nanahara and in the course of investigating his business and political dealings, they uncover evidence of experiments on human beings.

When the Sirrut members attempt to dig deeper, they are attacked by a hideous creature on a subway. As the monster tears through the passengers, all that stands in its way is a girl with a sword.

You can check out the Blood-C: The Last Dark website but it is only in Japanese. You can view the first teaser trailer on Youtube.
