Fairy Tail Movie Trailer

A new trailer has appeared for the upcoming Fairy Tail movie, Priestess Of The Phoenix.

Masaya Fujimori, who worked on many of the Doraemon movies, is directing the film, which will open in Japan on 18 August from Shochiku. Screenwriter Masashi Sogo, who worked on the Fairy Tail TV series, penned the script which is an all-new story created especially for the film.

Series creator Hiro Mashima has written a 30-page special prologue manga that is only available to people booking advance tickets to see the movie in Japan.

The plot involves a mysterious girl called Éclair who has lost all her memories, apart from the knowledge that she has to deliver two Phoenix Stones - but to whom or where she has no idea. Fortunately for Éclair, the wizards of the Fairy Tail guild - Natsu, Lucy, Ezra, Gray and Happy are on hand to help. And destroy property.

The movie has a website but it is all in Japanese. The first volume of the TV series is out now from Manga Entertainment, with Part 2 due out on 21 May.
