Fairy Tale Killer

When Wu Zai-Jun (Wang Baoqiang) shows up at a police station to confess to a murder, he is sent on his way after the cops discover his supposed victim is alive and well. Unfortunately, the next day, Wu's intended target turns up dead. Inspector Han (Lau Ching-wan) and his team are desperate to avoid being accused of incompetence for not arresting a murderer who tried to confess to a premeditated crime, so they set out to track down Wu. They uncover a series of gruesome murders - with the manner of death in each case inspired by a different fairy tale - and Han vows to bring Wu to justice at any cost.

After taking a break from releasing new movies in the UK while they concentrated on running their impressive film festival, Terracotta returns to film distribution with this dark thriller from Danny Pang, one half of the team behind The Eye and Re-Cycle. Watch out for the Fairy Tale Killer on DVD from Terracotta's Terrorcotta horror imprint now.
