See Failan For Free At KCCUK

Tonight's screening at the Korean Cultural Centre UK is Failan by Song Hae-sung, which stars Choi Min-sik and Cecilia Cheung.

After losing both her parents, Failan (Cecilia Cheung) emigrates to Korea to try to find her only remaining relatives.

Unfortunately, when she gets there, she finds out that her relatives have all moved to Canada over a year ago.

Desperate to stay and make a living in Korea, Failan is forced to have an arranged marriage through a match-making agency.

Kang Jae (Choi Min-sik) is an low-level gangster who has just been released from prison after he was busted selling porn to teenagers. He's short on cash so he decides to accept the arranged marriage for the money.

Then Kang Jae is asked to take the fall for a murder committed by his boss and has to decide whether to take the blame or get out of town.

The screening is tonight, Thursday 22 November 2012, at 7PM.

It is free to attend but you must register in advance, which you can do on the KCCUK website.

Venue: Korean Cultural Centre UK, 1 - 3 Strand, London WC2N 5BW
