A Girl At My Door

Young-nam (Doona Bae) was a fast-rising police officer in Seoul, but following a personal scandal, she is demoted and assigned to a small coastal town. There she meets Do-hee (Kim Sae-ron), a teenager who shows signs of being physically abused by her stepfather Yong-ha (Song Sae-byuk). When Young-nam decides to protect Dohee, an angry Yong-ha begins digging into her murky past. Star Doona Bae was so impressed with director July Jung’s script that she worked on the film without pay.
