Keanu Reeves Takes On The Man Of Tai Chi

It certainly seems that Keanu Reeves' experience learning martial arts for The Matrix left a big impression on the actor. In November he stars in Universal's adaptation of 47 Ronin while he has stepped into the director's role for the first time with Man Of Tai Chi. The movie is currently being shot in Beijing and Hong Kong with Yuen Wo-Ping handling the action choreography. Chen Hu, who is Reeves' kung fu coach off-screen, takes the lead role while Reeves himself will play the villain of the tale. Karen Mok will play the female lead as a police officer. Universal Pictures, which is co-producing, will handle the films release in North America and presumably the UK.
