After The Rain Free Screening Tomorrow Night

Tomorrow, Wednesday 25 April 2012, the Embassy Of Japan hosts the latest in their monthly movie series, bringing rarely seen films from Japan to British viewers and Japanese film lovers here in the UK.

The film tomorrow is Takashi Koizumi's After The Rain starring Akira Terao and Yoshiko Miyazaki. The screenplay was written by Akira Kurosawa shortly before he died.

The lord of the domain, Shigeaki, is impressed with Ihei's skill and offers to make him fencing master to the fief. Unfortunately, Ihei has a knack for saying the wrong thing and soon finds himself on the wrong side of Shigeaki.
