Edinburgh International Film Festival

The line-up has been unveiled for this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival and it is packed with the latest films from across Asia.

The festival's new artistic director Chris Fujiwara obviously knows his stuff and has picked works from Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.

You'll need to head over to the Festival website for the full rundown but here are just some of the highlights:

Dragon (aka Wu Xia) from Peter Chan, starring Donnie Yen, Kara Hui and Takeshi Kaneshiro (trailer below)

Life Without Principle - the new thriller from Johnnie To starring Lau Ching-Wan, Richie Jen and Lee Hoi-Pang (shown above)

A retrospective of the work of Shinji Somai

Isn't Anyone Alive? - the latest from Gakuryu Ishii will be at the festival ahead of it's release by Third Window Films

The King Of Pigs - a Korean animated feature about two friends who were bullied as children

The event runs from 20 June to 1 July at venues throughout the city.
