See Singapore Horror Film 'Twisted' At Grimm Up North

Manchester's celebration of the macabre - Grimm Up North - returns in October for its annual dose of terror at the Dancehouse.

This year's line up includes films from the UK, USA, Ireland, Columbia, Spain and Argentina.

Asian horror is represented this year by Chai Yee Wai's Twisted from Singapore.

The film is a collection of short stories starring Cavin Soh, Randall Tan, Zhu Mimi, Tracy Lee and Alvin Wong.

The stories look at how actions have unexpected consequences and involve a drug dealer who has been cheating on his wife; two con men trying to clean up their act; and the members of an airline's cabin crew out for a night of fun that goes wrong.

The Grimm Up North screening will mark the movie's UK premiere and it plays on Sunday 7 October at 11AM.

The festival runs from 3 to 7 October and you can check out the full line-up of films and special guests at the GrimmFest website.

You can learn more about Twisted on the movie website and Facebook page.
