War Of The Arrows Trailer Hits The Mark

Hopefully you all read NEO's interview with director Kim Han-min when he was in the UK for the London Korean Film Festival last November.

But just in case you missed it, Kim is the man behind the thrilling action-adventure War Of The Arrows which comes to DVD and Blu-ray on 7 May.

The movie stars Park Hae-il as Nam-yi, a lethal archer who lives in the shadow of a tragic past. When the Manchus invade and kidnap both his sister and her betrothed on their wedding day, Nam-yi grabs his bow and heads off in pursuit.

However, the brave archer finds he has met his match in the form of Jyushinta, a Manchu general who is a crack shot. The two warriors play a deadly game of hunter and hunted as Nam-yi relentlessly pursues the Manchus, determined to bring his sister home at any cost.

Ryoo Seung-yong is outstanding as Jyushinta and War Of The Arrows plays like a John Woo movie with bows and arrows instead of guns.
