The Victim Trailer Brings Thai Horror Home

Fancy a fright this summer? Monthon Arayangkoon's Thai chill-fest The Victim should chill you to the core.

An aspiring young actress, Ting (Pitchanart Sakakorn), is approached by the Bangkok police to play a variety of mugging, murder and rape victims in a series of Crimewatch-style re-enactments. It might not be glamourous, but it's a chance to act and get paid.

Ting's talent for being murdered on camera leads to plenty of work from the police and even a part in a soap opera. But when Ting accepts an assignment to play Meen, a former Miss Thailand contestant who was allegedly killed by her husband, Ting starts to feel that the spirits of the dead are trying to reach out to her.

Determined to solve the mystery about Meen's death and discover the killer's identity, Ting discovers the worlds of reality, fantasy, the supernatural and the media colliding in the most unexpected and terrifying ways imaginable.
