Trailer For Korean Fright Anthology Horror Stories
Horror Stories is a new South Korean horror anthology featuring tales of suspense from five directors.
The thread that binds the stories together is established in the opening short, Beginning by Min Kyu-Dong, in which a high school student is kidnapped by a serial killer. Her only hope for survival is to tell him the most terrifying stories she can think of.
Sun And Moon by Jung Bum-Sik is about a brother and sister being menaced by a suspicious delivery man trying to get into their house.
In Lim Dae-Woong's Fear Plane, a lone flight attendant faces a killer, trapped aboard a flight.
Kongji, Parkji by Hong Ji-Young is about the deadly rivalry between two beautiful step-siblings.
Finally Ambulance, by Kim Gok and Kim Sun, is set in a city during a lethal virus outbreak. Five people in an ambulance start to suspect that one of them may already be infected.
Horror Stories is set to be the opening film at the 16th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival after which the movie opens in cinemas in Korea on 26 July. With plenty of Asian horror being picked up for the UK, perhaps this one will make it's way over here.
