And The Christmas Number One Is...Black Ops
The battle for the Christmas number one is over and the victor is Call Of Duty: Black Ops. Forget Matt Cardle's horrible wharbling, the real winner this holiday season is the new Call of Duty title, which has generated sales exceeding US$1million since it came out in November. It may be the fastest selling video game ever.
According to the trade body UKIE, in the four weeks running up to Christmas the UK games industry enjoyed sales of over £290 million. Here's this weeks Top Ten. Professor Layton is hanging in there with The Lost Future.
1. Call of Duty: Black Ops
2. FIFA 11
3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
4. Just Dance 2
5. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
6. Gran Turismo 5
7. Donkey Kong Country Returns

And last but not least, yet another trailer has been released for Marvel VS Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds, featuring the likes of Magneto, Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, and X-23, who provides the answer to the age old comic book nerd's question - 'What would Wolverine look like if he was a hot teenage girl?'
