Gameplay Trailer for One Piece: Pirate Warriors

Here in the UK, we wait patiently (or not) for someone to bring the One Piece anime over here.

In the meantime, the manga sells in droves and Namco Bandai has announced that they will be releasing the latest One Piece game on the PS3 in Europe in November 2012.

In Pirate Warriors players take control of Monkey D. Luffy or one of the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates to take on a legion of enemies and their mighty bosses.

The game was released in Japan in March and sold over 655,000 copies in its first week alone. Total sales units across Asia are approaching the 1 million mark.

In Japan the manga continues to dominate the sales charts. Most of the collected volumes pass three million copies sold and last year One Piece led the field in total volumes sold by a massive 37,996,373. The closest runner-up was Naruto with 6,874,840 copies.
