MCM Comic Con

"Expect great things at October's MCM London Comic Con," organiser Bryan Cooney told us about the event, which is scheduled for 25-27 October. "Panels planned will include special guests from Attack on Titan, 47 Ronin, four major Namco Bandai creators and voice talent from the latest WB title Batman Arkham Origins."

The biannual show is the UK's largest popular culture convention, set to expand once more in autumn as the attendees flock to London to celebrate games, anime, manga, sci-fi and more. "MCM London Comic Con will be soaring from 25,000 square meters to 34,000, spreading the event across both sides of ExCel for the first time," Cooney stated. "Growing the show's footprint will not only allow us to provide additional exhibitor space, but will also enable us to expand our Main Theatre so even more visitors get to enjoy the latest movies from the UK's biggest distributors, as well as cast and crew presentations."

The show is attended by many major UK distributors, including Manga Entertainment. "We are really looking forward to attending the October MCM London Comic Con," Jerome Mazandarani, head of marketing and acquisitions at Manga Entertainment said. "This show will see Manga debut a new booth layout with even more floor space to house even more DVDs, Blu-rays, box sets, toys, VIZ Media manga, T-shirts and more. We're also very excited to be bringing along some very special guests for a special panel and signing. Of course, Andrew and Jeremy will be on hand to help me present another live @MangaUK Podcast Panel on the Saturday and I am also looking forward to attending the anime industry panel. We will also be looking to meet and interview friends on the floor for our YouTube channel. And in case you were wondering, we have some pretty big announcements to make too. See you all at the Con. We can't wait."

Another UK anime distributor, MVM Entertainment will also be in attendance. "As followers of our social media will know, MVM have picked up an extraordinary number of hot new anime titles to round off 2013 and launch 2014. More news will be announced at MCM Comic Con," Tony Allen told us. "Fans can take the opportunity to pick up some DVDs and Blu-ray before they are in the shops. Look out for our latest 'Deal of the Day' offers too!"

VIZ Media will also be attending as part of Manga's stand. "VIZ Media will be selling a fantastic range of manga, at exclusive London Comic Con prices," Sarah Anderson said. "We'll also have competitions and promotions as well as very special offers!"
