Kaburimono Workshop

Come along to the Japan Foundation in Russell Square London on Friday 30 May (3pm) and Saturday 31 May (11am / 3pm) for a Kaburimono workshop with artist Norio Nishihara. Nishihara is famous for these creative and outlandish creations - headgear which can be constructed using just newspaper and coloured tape. You can make anything you like - take your inspiration from Pikachu, One Piece of even Dragon Ball! You'll be amazed at what you can create from just simple material. You can also learn how to write your name in Japanese to adorn your kaburimono. And, why not turn up dressed as your favourite character, and create a kaburimono to complete the look?

Full event details can be found online (http://www.jpf.org.uk/whatson.php#648). This event is free to attend but booking is essential. To reserve a place, please send your name and the title of the event to event@jpf.org.uk.
