Thought Bubble Returns In November

Thought Bubble returns to Leeds in November for its annual celebration of comics, manga, and visual storytelling. Celebrating its 6th year, the festival has been extended over eight days to run from 11th to 18th November with a jam-packed programme of events, including a massive comic book convention at Leeds' largest conference spaces, the Royal Armouries and Saviles Hall.

Guests confirmed so far include Jason Aaron, the writer behind the acclaimed comic Scalped, Mark Waid who wrote the best-selling Kingdom Come for DC Comics, and Becky Cloonan, currently drawing the new Conan comic book for Dark Horse. For more details, keep an eye on thoughtbubblefestival.com

Thought Bubble runs as part of the Leeds Film Festival, which always includes loads of Asian cinema goodies, past and present. The line-up this year includes screenings of Big Man Japan, Children Who Chase Lost Voices From Deep Below by Makoto Shinkai, Colourful, the awesome Detroit Metal City starring Kenichi Matsuyama, Sion Sono's Guilty Of Romance and many more.
