Anime All-Nighter At Sci Fi London In May

May starts with a bang as Sci Fi London brings seven days of movies, premieres and special events to the capital. The event begins with the Sci Fi London parade on 29 April before the screenings begin on 1 May, running at the Apollo Picadilly Circus.

Of special interest to NEO readers is the Anime All-Nighter, which takes place on Saturday 5 May and runs on into the Sunday morning.

Sci Fi London promises goody bags, competitions and surprises, plus an excellent line-up that includes Bleach 3: Fade To Black, the brilliant Freedom in its entirety, the cyberpunk action-thriller Mardock Scramble: First Compression and Mardock Scramble: Second Combustion, and from the vaults Vampire Hunter D: Blood Lust.

Also on the schedule is the UK premiere of Robo-G, a comedy by Shinobu Yaguchi about three guys who work for an electronics company who have to build a robot. When they can't actually make one, they decide to fake it anyway. The film is playing on Saturday 5th May at 8PM, so could make a perfect warm-up before the All-Nighter. You can order tickets here.
