Sakura Exhibition at Fairfields

Fairfields is the Arts Centre for Basingstoke, and the main Public Art Gallery in North Hampshire. As well as the Gallery, the venue houses a dance studio/theatre space, a digital media suite, art studios and more.

From Thursday 7th June to Wednesday 4th July 2012, Fairfields will be hosting the Sakura Exhibition.

Fairfields has put together a summer exhibition Fairfields International Manga Art Show for four years now with artists from all over the world, and the attraction has proven to be one of their most popular shows.

However, this summer will be a little different, and Fairfields will have an exhibition of work which comes directly from Japan. The Sakura exhibition shows work by very, very many different Japanese Artists.

The exhibition will feature over 100 different pieces by many different artists and promises to be a massive show with the gallery walls packed full of very accessible, enjoyable, and beautiful work.

The exhibition will be touring to Tokyo, New York, Osaka, Los Angeles and Basingstoke. Fairfields is the only Art Gallery in Europe where you can see it.
