Results from the MTV Video Music Awards Japan

On Saturday 23 June, 2012, the MTV Music Video Awards Japan were held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

The J-pop girl group Perfume were hosts for the evening and they took home two awards for their song Laser Beam. The event included performances by Linkin Park, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, JUJU, EXILE and Bump Of Chicken (who surely deserve a special award for Best Name Ever?)

Korea's 2PM had the unique distinction of performing two songs on the night and the boys took home the award for Best Group Video for their track I'm Your Man.

2NE1 snagged Best New Artist Video for I Am The Best while Video Of The Year went to EXILE for Rising Sun.
