Ga In Jumps Up The Charts With Bloom

Moonlighting from her day job in the idol group Brown Eyed Girls, singer Ga In has scored a hit with her single Bloom.

The track comes from Ga In's new mini-album Talk About S which was released on 5 October.

The single jumped straight to the top of the Korean real-time charts, giving Ga In the 'All Kill' title.

The track was written by Lee Min Soo and lyricist Kim Ee Na.

With Korea's strict rules about age ratings, the video for Bloom has been rated as inappropriate for anyone under 19. What has irked the Korean censors? The video contains scenes of smooching and...gasp...snogging. You've been warned.

The mini-album was produced by Cho Young-chul, who was producer for the Brown Eyed Girls' tracks Abracadabra and Sixth Sense as well as Ga In's 2010 solo debut Step 2/4.

The five tracks on the mini-album are:
Tinkerbell
Meet Her
Bloom
Gaze
Catch Me if You Can

In other K-pop Saturday news, the stream of PSY's live concert on Youtube this week was so popular that it crashed some of the website's servers.

PSY has been granted an O-visa allowing him to work in the United States. The O-visa is issued in cases where the applicant is considered to have an exceptional talent in their chosen field.

Apparently even the US Immigration And Naturalization Service is impressed by Gangnam Style.
