Jewelry Return With Look At Me

Happy K-pop Saturday!

The Los Angeles-based radio station KIIS-FM has added two Korean artists to the line-up for it's annual Jingle Ball events in December.

At the first event, held on 1 December 2012 at the Nokia Theatre in LA, The Wonder Girls will perform their song Like Money with Akon, who appears on the single.

Two days later, PSY will perform Gangnam Style on a bill that includes Justin Bieber and The Wanted.

If you happen to be in the LA area at the start of December, ticket info is on the KIIS-FM website.

On the subject of PSY, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon has praised the performer for uniting people around the world with his music, regardless of the language they speak.

It would not be K-pop Saturday without a video. Here is the new single from Jewelry.

The girl group first appeared in 2001 but has seen an ever changing roster of members over the years. Of the current line-up, Jooyeon and Eunjung have been in the band since 2008, while Yewon and Semi only joined in 2011.

The new track, Look At Me, is their first release in almost a year and a half.

In 2011 the group's song One More Time was banned by the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality & Family because it's lyrics were deemed too suggestive - despite the fact that by that point the song was three years old!

Former Jewelry member Seo In Young recently launched her own music company and released the solo track Anymore earlier this year.
