Girls Generation Return With Dancing Queen

Welcome to the penultimate Kpop Saturday of 2012!

After spending 2012 focusing their energies and attention on Japan and the USA, Girls Generation will begin 2013 with a new Korean album to be titled I Got A Boy.

It's a good thing the group isn't called Grammar Generation.

The first single and video have been released, called Dancing Queen and the track is based on Duffy's hit single Mercy (if you thought that bass line sounded familiar).

It is available now on iTunes.

The album will be released on 1 January 2013 and will be the Girls' fourth full length Korean album, following on from The Boys in 2011.

Elsewhere in the world of Kpop, PSY's Gangnam Style has passed 1 billion views on Youtube, making it the official theme song of all mankind. Resistance is futile.

After BIGBANG sold out both their shows at Wembley Arena in London, more Kpop artists are heading to the UK.

The boy band TEEN TOP has announced five European dates for 2013, which are:

2 February, venue: Backstage, Munich, Germany

3 February, venue: FZW, Dortmund, Germany

8 February, venue: The Forum, London, UK

9 February, venue: Le Trianon, Paris, France

10 February, venue: Sala Apolo, Barcelona, Spain

To see what the boys are all about, check out TEEN TOP's track Supa Luv on Youtube.

As yet, there are no tickets listed for the London show on the Forum's website but keep your eyes peeled as no doubt they will sell fast once they go on sale.
