CN Blue Jump Into Oricon Chart With Robot

Welcome to the first Kpop Saturday of 2013.

Korean band CN Blue has jumped into the Japanese Oricon singles chart with their new release Robot.

The single entered the charts at number 2 and the CD features the following tracks:
1. Robot
2. ring
3. Starlit Night
4. Robot (Instrumental)

The special First Press Edition was released with a bonus DVD containing Code Name Blue Release Live at Pacifico Yokohama featuring six tracks, the Robot music video and behind-the-scenes footage on the making of the video.

CN Blue clearly their eyes on the international market, with their successful career in Japan and a visit to London in 2012.

On the Twitter front, Super Junior's Siwon has become the first Kpop star to attract over 3 million followers with his Twitter account.

That's considerably more followers than PSY, who currently has 1.8 million people following him.

The second and third most popular Kpop stars are Siwon's bandmates Donghae and Leeteuk.
