Kim Sori Ends Hiatus With New Single Dual Life

Two years have passed since the last release from female solo artist Kim Sori, but she's back with a new single to kickstart 2013.

Dual Life was produced by Beatamin, who worked on Hyuna's Straight Up and Te Amo by U-Kiss.

Kim Sori made her debut as solo artist in 2009 after she had unsuccessfully auditioned to join the girl group Jewelry.

At one point she was asked by Yang Hyun Suk, President of YG Entertainment, to help the members of a new girl group with their dancing.

She declined the offer, which she may regret now as the group turned out to be 2NE1.

To date she has released a handful of singles and one mini-album, Hip Girl, in 2010.

However, the singer was recently signed by Universal Music, the same label that handles Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas, so perhaps her fortunes are about to be transformed.

As is increasingly popular with Kpop stars, she has released the dance practice video for her new song.

Dual Life is available as a digital single and Sori appeared on Music Bank to promote the track.

You can follow the singer on her Facebook page and Twitter account.
