2Yoon Release Their Debut Single As Kpop Goes Country

The first video has been released by 2Yoon, the subgroup composed of Jiyoon And Gayoon from 4Minute.

In a move that will either prove to be the highest genius or the most dire folly, the girls' first single is a hybrid of Kpop and country called 24/7.

Country may not shift a lot of units in the UK, but the genre is massive in the US where stars like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift cross over into the mainstream charts.

The single is taken from 2Yoon's debut mini-album Harvest Moon which contains the following tracks:

1. 24/7
2. Nightmare featuring BTOB's Il Hoon
3. Why Not
4. Clap Clap Clap featuring Kikaflo
5. Black Swan

There is a Making Of video for 24/7 which reveals, remarkably, that the video was not shot on a real ranch in Nashville. Ah, the magic of television.

Happy Kpop Saturday, cowboys and cowgirls!
