KARA Release Music Video For Speed Up

KARA have jumped straight into the Oricon singles chart at #2 this week with their new Japanese single Speed Up, released as a Double A-side with Girl's Power, as the group celebrates its fifth anniversary.

The release sold 21,352 copies just on the first day of being on sale.

KARA's first album Blooming was released on 29 March, 2007. They have just renewed their contract with Universal Music Japan and the girls are due to begin a twelve-date tour of Japan starting on 14 April.

A range of KARA dolls has just been released in Korean and Japan, so you can own Gyuri, Seung-Yeon, Hara, Nicole and Jiyoung, at least in plastic form.

The band has numerous sites on the web if you want to see more of them. Check out Universal Music Japan's KARA page, KARA's Japanese website, or their Korean site.

Their third Korean album, Step, came out last year but at least for the next month their focus seems to be squarely on continuing their conquest of Japan.
