f(x) Electrify The Charts With Electric Shock Video

Big Bang may have scored over 10.5 million hits on their video for Monster in the two weeks since it was released on Youtube, but the girls of f(x) have just knocked the boys off the top spot.

Electric Shock, the new video from f(x), has scored over 11. 3 million views in just its first week of release. The song entered the Kpop Mnet Chart at number #1, beating Like This by the Wonder Girls and Big Bang's Monster in the process.

There was plenty of hype ahead of the release of the video thanks to the strange teaser photo, seen above, of the girls dressed in animal masks.

The music video ranked 1st on this week’s ‘Most Viewed Videos’ and ‘Most Liked’ on YouTube's worldwide chart.

The dance choreography was the work of Jillian Meyers, who has worked with the likes of Janet Jackson, Celine Dion, and Kylie Minogue.

SMTown has released a Making of Electric Shock video to go with the song but it is only in Korean with no English subtitles.

The hit song is the title track of the group's new mini-album. Here's the track listing:
