NEW UPDATE BITCHES!
There's gonna be a new Dragon Ball manga, an adaptation of the 40th JUMP Anniversary.  It comes out March 21st, It's a GLORIOUS YEAR FOR DRAGON BALL!!! It won't be done just by Toriyama either... Also, the upcoming Video Game Dragon Ball Z Story on the DS has had a name change to accompany the new series... Dragon Ball Kai: Saiyajin Shuurai!  A GLORIOUS YEAR!!! And here's a translation of the 4 black boxes (from the front page of Daizex) of the scan from the previous page. "The story will be developed speedily! Kai" starts from the invasion of the Saiyans. This version will be re-edited to hew more closely to Akira Toriyama's original story, so the story's development will progress all the faster! The opening and ending songs will be completely renewed!! The opening and ending songs will together be made anew! Furthermore, in "Kai", the background music will be newly recorded. Let's enjoy "Kai", where even the music has been powered up!! Through digital processing, the image will be made vibrant!! All the grime, damage and noise remaining on the "Z" film will be removed! In HD, the image will be even clearer. We've carefully made the ultra-powerful "Kai" world even more impressive! An all-star voice cast will record the lines anew!! The original main cast, centered around Masako Nozawa as Son Goku, will reunite, yo. They'll breathe life into the characters again, to support their appeal!! The official Kai page indicates that the new theme song will be premiered at the Tokyo International Anime Fair on March 20th, and the singer of the song will be there. Masako Nozawa will also be there and interviewed.

The first look at the series has appeared, turns out it's being cropped, the same amount as the Season sets, only slightly higher.....
Edit: A Cast list has appeared on 2ch, it was said to be an announcment from Shonen Jump, and even though we've been told that the original cast (other than dead members) will rerecord their lines, but this suggests otherwise... The new Opening and ending singer is revealed!
 Takayoshi Tanimoto. Opening Song: Dragon Soul Ending Song: Yeah! Break! Care Break! Also, that list of new voice actors has turned out to be total bull! The first 4 episodes have been revealed?! Information from V-Jump!
April 5th, episode 1 「闘いの幕開け！帰ってきたぞ孫悟空」 "Dawn of the battles! Son Goku is back" April 12th, episode 2 「敵は悟空の兄！？最強戦士サイヤ人の秘密」 "The enemy is Goku's brother?! Secret of Saiya-jin, the strongest warriors" April 19th, episode 3 「悟空とピッコロ最強タッグ！激闘ラディッツ戦（仮）」 "Goku and Piccolo, the strongest tag team! Fierce fight against Raditz (temporary)" April 26th, episode 4 「孫悟空が死んじゃった…あの世とこの世のキビしい修行！（仮）」 "Son Goku died... Arduous trainings in both aother and this world! (temporary)" So the first 6 episodes have had their filler removed and been condensed into 4 glorious episodes! We'll be able to watch it in 2 weeks... Who will dub the DBZ for the UK? The series that aired initially on Cartoon Network (then transferred to CNX and Toonami -both of which no longer exist) in the UK was dubbed by Ocean Studios whereas the US version was dubbed by FUNimation. Pretty sure Canada and Australia got the Ocean dubs too, though I'm not sure. Ocean dub was far better. In the more dramatic and serious scenes, I remember those drum beats of the soundtrack. The voices too suited the characters better.

We are never going to get Dragonball/Z/GT/Kai on DVD in the UK, well apart from the movies released by Warner.
