Default Should they keep doing the manga strip in Neo?

I have to say I have found them to be of variable quality since I started reading Neo again regularly. But the sheer awfulness of that Pwanda strip got me thinking, do we really need a manga strip at all or could the space be better used for other stuff?

I voted no, purely because i feel that space could be filled with something better. Prehaps a recomendation page? Or more reviews?

I read the Pwanda strip, and the only funny thing about it was how awful it was.

For me it feels like a filler. I'm hoping it's effectively a paid for advert as that will help fund other articles.

Well, sometimes they put some good stuff on there. I liked the Peacemaker strips in the previous few issues. Sometimes the material is a bit crap too, so that makes me undecided.

Not if it's anything like Pwanda, no. especially with how bigged up it was, I was quite looking forward to it.

I was shocked at how bad it actually was, there just seemed to be absolutely no storyline there whatsoever and anyone who may have bought this, I think would have been put right off with that extract.
To be fair though, the art was pretty good.

If this is an example of the "Layershift concept", god help Dimensional Manga.

Not a big fan of the strips at all, I think the pages could be used more effectively doing either in depth features or more reviews. Most of the concepts on your features are great but I feel somewhat let down due to the lack of depth, just seems like a glorified summary, and although i love the large artwork, it also seems to take precedence over the actual text.

I would love to see in depth analysis of why a particular film, series, manga was great or rubbish! Taking views from the crew and from the forum here. Yes it will be spoilerific but I dont think it should ve avoided.

Would be great if there was more focus on Manga - series', artists, writers etc. What about features on studio houses, their history etc.

I mainly get your mag for reviews and sometimes the features, and it is a fun read, but I always dont bother looking at the strips.

It really is the poorest section of Neo, most of the other stuff is of varying degrees of readability, the strip too often feels like a waste of pages.

i wouldnt want it replaced with more reviews however as we get plenty in the issue itself.
